Diana In May 1997, three and half months before the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, Ginny Burgin, a member of an evangelical congregation in Sheffield, England told her church that she believed that she had received a message from God. It had come to her during a time of quiet prayer and she was convinced that it was related to the royal family. "I felt God say to me, ‘I am doing work which, at the moment, is very unseen. But it is happening quicker than you think’." And the confirmation of this work, she said, would be the dawning of a day of mourning and the laying of flowers in cities across Britain. On August 31, as the news of Diana’s death spread, the significance of her words echoed in the minds of those at the Sheffield church. Since then it has become known as Diana Prophecy and thousands of Christians in Britain believe it to be a direct sign from God that he is at work changing the hearts and minds of people. On the morning of August the 31, Burgin, after hearing the news of Diana’s death, went to church convinced that the day of the prophecy has arrived and declared there was a second part to it. As she stood in front of the congregation, her words were recorded and later transcribed. "I am on the move, says the Lord ... in the cities of this nation ... and where the flowers are laid, my spirit will be moving faster than those flowers are removed ... as fast as mourning went through the nation, joy will go through ... you will know the miraculous entering your lives ... you will see changes in areas where you never expected to see changes ... I will bring this nation to its knees before me ... do not let that spirit of mourning grasp at your heart."		Diana
